Day traders profit from volatility and often lose to fees and impulsive entries. This hub covers day trading from four angles: strategy, timing, risk-reward and cost.

What this hub covers

The classic day trading mistake is trading in and out of quiet hours with tight stops chasing small gains, ending up with a decent win rate and an account drained by fees and slippage. These four guides cover the rules for entries and exits, which hours are worth watching, how to set risk-reward, and how much fees really cost.

Suggested reading order

Start with the day trading strategy for a complete set of entry, stop and take-profit rules. Then read the timing guide to focus on the most volatile hours. Next, win rate vs risk-reward explains why the target should sit further away than the stop. Finish with fees to work out how far price must move just to cover costs.
