Don't short just because of a top · LangLang Trading Principle
Judging that the top will correct doesn't mean you should short: momentum is still there, so shorting is counter-trend; as it falls there are buyers catching longs all the way, so the risk-reward on shorts is poor; and you may miss the real long launch. Rather than take a lower-grade short, rest and wait for consolidation to complete.
In LangLang's words
Judgment is judgment; the momentum is still there, so shorting is counter-trend
Even if it falls, there are buyers catching longs, so the risk-reward on shorts isn't good
Resting now is better than shorting
A lower-grade short is hard to trade; either let it go or wait for consolidation before entering

High-level fifth wave: first reject chasing longs, then discuss shorting
LangLang uses the TIA and BTC shorts as examples to explain the common background of high-level shorts: the price completes a fifth wave and reaches a relatively high level, fails to hold after a breakout retest of the previous platform or support zone, and then enters a correction corresponding to the fifth wave. TIA had already given multiple low-level long opportunities within two months; at the high-level platform breakout, LangLang believed that one must not go long no matter what, because even if it continued to rise, there was not much sustainable space. What is rejected first here is chasing longs at highs, not immediately concluding that one must short.

Don't rush to short at the top; rest during consolidation
In the recap, LangLang mentioned that when BTC rushed to around 44,000, he had been watching to short because he judged capital was entering a retreat zone; but later he emphasized that even if a top is judged, one should not short, because momentum is still there, there are buyers on the way down, the risk-reward of short positions is not high, and it may hinder subsequent long opportunities. This is the most obvious tension in the entire video. It can be summarized as: exiting longs takes priority; shorting is not a default action.

Conditions for Shorting an Engulfing Reversal at the End of Wave Five
BIT LangLang defined the TRB short as a preferred structure: after the completion of a large-degree fifth wave, an engulfing false breakout appears, followed by a correction. He called it the same as previous cases and said such structures have been traded many times in the past with a high win rate. However, the "fifth wave" in the picture is his subjective structural labeling, not an objective count that can be independently verified from the transcript alone.

The pitfall of counter-trend top-picking at resistance
LangLang shorted counter-trend in a large-timeframe dense chip resistance zone; although there was a resistance basis, trend inertia could break through the resistance, so it was very hard to participate. He specifically clarified: a resistance level is only a position where divergence 「may occur」; it does not guarantee divergence. Absolutizing a probabilistic condition and shorting ahead of the trend against it results in being stopped out by inertia.
